The Everest Base Camp Trek is one of the world’s most iconic Himalayan adventures, taking you deep into the legendary Khumbu region and to the base of Mount Everest, the highest mountain on Earth. The journey combines breathtaking mountain scenery, Sherpa culture, ancient monasteries, and unforgettable high-altitude trekking.
Starting with the scenic flight to Lukla, the trail passes through beautiful Sherpa villages including Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche, and Gorak Shep. Along the way, trekkers enjoy spectacular views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and surrounding Himalayan peaks. A major highlight is the early-morning climb to Kala Patthar, offering one of the finest panoramic views of Mount Everest.
The trek also provides an opportunity to experience the rich traditions of the Sherpa people and visit important Buddhist sites such as Tengboche Monastery. From peaceful valleys and rhododendron forests to rugged glaciers and dramatic high-altitude landscapes, every stage of the journey offers a unique Himalayan experience.
The Everest Base Camp Trek requires good physical fitness and proper acclimatization. Spring and autumn are generally the best seasons for favorable trekking conditions and clear mountain views.

Day 1: Ktm to Lukla, by plane, 25/30 minutes. Continue until Phakding, 2610 m, 3/4 h.
Day 2: Phakding to Namche Bazaar, 3440 m, 5/8 h.
Day 3: Namche hike to Everest View Point or Khumjung Village/Yeti Scrap, Tenzing Hillary Museum, 3880 m.
Day 4: Namche to Tengboche, 3867 m, 5/6 h.
Day 5: Tengboche to Dingboche, 4410 m, 5/6 h.
Day 6: Dingboche, acclimatization/hike to Chhukung or Nagarjun Hill, 5100 m.
Day 7: Dingboche to Lobuche, 4910 m, 5/6 h.
Day 8: Lobuche to Gorakshep, 5140 m, 4/5 h.
Day 9: Gorakshep to Kalapathar or Base Camp, hike until Pheriche or Somare, 4010 m, 7/8 h.
Day 10: Somare to Namche Bazaar, 5/6 h.
Day 11: Namche to Lukla, 2860 m, 6/7 h.
Day 12: Lukla to Ktm, by plane.
